Meg Czaja is a designer and product developer specializing in upholstered and outdoor furniture and is currently available for freelance and consulting roles. She most recently was a Director of Furniture Design at West Elm in Brooklyn, NY. where she worked for seven years. In 2015 she graduated with distinction from Pratt Institute’s Master of Industrial Design program.

Heavily influenced by Scandinavian design principles; she believes in the beauty that exists in simplicity, the importance of honest materials and construction, and the impact of intertwining narrative within an object. Meg is an advocate for the visibility of women in design and actively strives to encourage and take part in a new generation of female designers.
